To allow the tenant to associate change ticket details to each IP added such as the date, the person making the change and the internal ticket number for reference. Similar to how data groups work in legacy BIP IP where you have a key/value pair. Today to include this level of detail when we add an IP to a set, we have to append it to the description of the set which makes it awkward to read and manage. If we remove an IP from the set, we have to remember to remove the associated description from the IP Set's description field. Having a description per IP, even if its left blank would solve this issue. It's fine to limit the character set to alphanumberic plus a few special chars like brackets, dashes and comma.
For example
key = 34.43.34.43/32
value = internal change ticket 12345678 - john doe - Aug 29, 2023
While the date and who made the change is available in the audit logs, its so much easier if the values are right there on the screen where you're managing the IP set.
An alternative, and probably easier enhancement, would be to display in read only form, for each existing IP/record, who added it and the date/time it was added. That would also be helpful.
