XC's synthetic monitors include the capability to specify a regex pattern against response body. This is helpful in general for targeted probing, i.e. common application-side built-in health checks that report on critical backend system resources/situations to determine if clients should be ready to on-ramp to a backend service or not.

This feature is not available under LB HTTP health monitors where load-balancing decisions are made. This is a critical requirement for how we monitor and auto-fail our applications between different resources/locations.
