Allow tenant admins to set GUI session timeout
Currently the GUI session timeout is hardcoded (to 15 minutes?). It would be helpful if tenant admins could configure the GUI session timeout to any value (default to 20 minutes?).
It is a user irritation, especially if you're trying to go through a multi-step configuration process like defining an HTTP load balancer with paths, monitors, etc. The GUI times out and you have to start all over again.
With SSO enabled, users might need to go through sign-in, including MFA, when their session times out. This adds extra unnecessary friction for users.

This feedback came in from a CES survey on Aug 9, 2024, from Cincinnati Insurance Co in US [rated 7 of 7 satisfaction]: "Great, clean and intuitive interface with fast convergence and plenty of data/metrics. I enjoy the unified console making it easier to navigate and correlate. There is already a case open that I voted and commented on, however the idle timeout should really be increased for the XC console GUI. I am also looking forward to log forwarding as we utilize our big data collector heavily for dashboards and reporting, especially for WAF events/monitoring."
This feedback came in from a CES survey on Aug 8, 2024, from Bossard AG in Switzerland [rated 5 of 7 ease]: "The automatic idle timeout is too short and interrupting the workflow. Please let me adjust it or set it to one hour."
Agree with the OP, outside the API the timeout is quite short for the web console especially when configuring objects. Concerning SSO re-auth and entering in MFA each time it is a bit busy.
