As a team owner on the http://testing.demo1.volterra.us/ team, whenever a new child tenant gets created, or destroyed, I get an email telling me that happened. The email has these two blurbs in it:
This notification is being sent to you because you are a part of the Tenant Owner group of the parent tenant.
You can change your Notification Preferences at any time on the My Account page in Administration.
Regarding point 2, all my notification options are already turned off, and these emails keep coming. That makes me think these emails are required for team owners to be received.
My idea:
if the email is not something I can / should turn off, the email should not tell me I have the option to turn off the notification, as it's confusing
if the email is something I could turn off, the notification settings should have an option to turn off these kinds of emails
