When whitelists are created, it would be very useful to provide a description/comment field, whether that be an individual field associated with each entry or a single large entry associated with the entire whitelist. This field would allow the creator of the whitelist to document the included entries in the whitelist. Without this field, it is difficult to know what the included whitelist entries are, if they are temporary or 'permanent', etc. The value of providing the ability to document entries is to ensure that whitelists do not get filled with stale entries, or elements of unknown origin.
