Customers can have dynamic services in their infrastructure (not in K8s) which need to be discovered by VoltMesh. Currently, customers are required to run Hashicorp Consul or a dynamic DNS service in their infrastructure to get VoltMesh service discovery from CE. VoltMesh should include its own discovery service which can be populated through VoltConsole APIs as well as API endpoints on CE itself.
