Current CE sites include ping between sites, but ICMP is not a proper measurement of latency for most services. The tools should include TCP RT based tooling which support various message sizes. It would be great if the tool as exposed through VoltConsole would allow testing to FQDN based destinations as well as specific nodes in other CE sites in the tenant.

Current CE site does not include any throughput testing between CE sites. The tools should include TCP bandwidth testing tooling which supports various message sizes. It would be great if the tool as exposed through VoltConsole would allow testing to FQDN based destinations as well as specific nodes in other CE sites in the tenant.

Currently we have built this functionality in a container which is deployed on site, and then associated origin pools and virtual hosts have to be defined. This type of testing is valuable enough to support it between site nodes by default. I can only image this would be use as a load generation tool for Volterra support as well.
