Dear Team,
We would like to suggest a product enhancement for the Trusted Client configuration.
Currently, under Trusted Client, we have broad categories such as Skip IP Reputation. However, instead of whitelisting the entire category, it would be more effective to provide granular controls for specific security categories.
For example, if an IP is categorized under Spam Sources, Web Attacks, or Botnets, we should have the option to configure:
Skip Spam Sources
Skip Web Attacks
Skip Botnets
Skip IP Reputation
Similar granular controls for Bot Protection
This approach would allow us to exempt a trusted IP only from the required security check rather than bypassing the entire category. It would provide better security control while also addressing legitimate business requirements.
We request the product team to consider this as a product enhancement, as granular category-based exclusions would provide greater flexibility and reduce the need for broad whitelisting.
Regards,
Shoeb
